Kat Veridiano

Hello, my name is Kat. I'm an artist. I paint + I teach children and adults how to paint.
In my current profession, as a teacher for over 15 years, I have the opportunity to teach children and see their faces light up as they learn! In the process, I also developed the skill of how to explain things simply, in a way that anyone can understand.
Art has always been ingrained in me and has interested me since I was a little girl. I joined art contests and won awards in many of them. I was also in a GATE Art program during my middle school years. I dabbled in drawing, painting, pottery, sewing, knitting/crocheting, graphic design, to name a few.
Fast forward to adulthood, I received a degree in the Arts from FiDM in San Francisco. My original goal was to pursue Fashion Design only to discover sewing and pattern making was not my thing. It was color theory and illustrations that turned out to be my strongest suit. With one more year left in school, I found out I was pregnant with my twin girls. Life happened which put a little set back in my plans. As a single mother of two, I put my creative dreams aside and went back into teaching so I can enroll my children in the private school I was working at the time. Now that my girls are grown, what better time to revisit and entertain the creative side I abandoned long ago.
Now, I create art and teach people how to express their creativity through paint and other mediums. I believe that many of us are gifted and artistically inclined, some people just haven't discovered that yet. My mission is to help people find that, whether it be through purchasing art to curate within their home or take a class and make something beautiful. Let's expand your creativity, join me and experience a transformation!
